Several local residents have enjoyed their daily exercise by walking across the Radyr Golf Club course.
The club reports that they have done so in a considerate manner; tidying up after their dogs and respecting the greens and bunkers.
However, the course will reopen for golfers on Monday 18th May. Once again, golf balls will be flying around at dangerous speeds - and it will be vital that non-golfers walk on the golf course using only the public footpaths that skirt it. This is for their safety - and to enable golfers to enjoy their sport.
In the meantime, the club would like to thank those members of the public who have offered kind words of appreciation, following their walks across the site - and it hopes that residents will visit again when the clubhouse is fully open.
And it's also a big thank you to the golf club from us - for allowing so many residents to enjoy the opportunity to wander across the course.
