A chance to enjoy meeting other photographers and to exchange information and ideas that will help produce images that please members and, when entered into a competition, others too. The club has members who are professionals, some who are very talented amateurs and others who are enthusiastic novices – so whatever your level of skill, you will not feel out of place. The club holds an exhibition of photographs during the R&M Festival in May.
The club meets once a month, in the evening, on the first Tuesdays between September and April. It meets at the Old Church Rooms (and at outside locations for a club photo-shoots). You can obtain the dates of the club's meetings from the Chairman, David Cargill, on 029 2084 2034 or at d.cargill@ntlworld.com Membership costs £5 per year plus £2 for attending club meetings, to cover the cost of the room. A warm welcome is offered to all new members of all ages. The next events are: 2 April: David Cargill 'Old Radyr' 16 April: festival photos 4 May: festival photo competition 17 May: audio visual night. Photographs taken by club members can be viewed here.
