This morning our Chair laid a wreath on behalf of the Community Council to commemorate British service members who have died in wars and other military conflicts since the onset of World War One. With Wales still being in Lockdown, Remembrance Sunday this year is very different. In past years we have witnessed a large turnout around the War Memorial in Heol Isaf, followed by a service in Christ Church. However, with gatherings forbidden and churches closed, neither is possible today. Even so, online services will be held - details of which can be found here. For the Fallen They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
