A local farmer (based just outside Radyr and Morganstown) has issued a note urging people who cross his land to follow the countryside code. We believe that his concerns stem from the fact that many more people are accessing his land (via public footpaths, we hope) during the COVID crisis. It would seem, from his note, that some people are not following the code.
We think that following the Countryside Code is an excellent thing to do. However, rather than reproducing his note on our website, we will simply take this opportunity to remind you of the need to follow the code when visiting the woodlands and farmlands that can be accessed from Radyr and Morganstown. You can enjoy reading the code here. But please don't be put off visiting the countryside! We all have a right to access public footpaths - and to enjoy the wide network of routes that criss-cross the countryside around us.
