Cardiff Council is looking to consult on a new Local Development Plan next year (around May).
The Local Development Plan will set out Cardiff Council's proposals for future development and use of land in its area. The Plasdwr development, for example, was agreed as part of the existing LDP - so it's important that we have our say in the development of the next LDP. It could result in another Plasdwr on our doorstep. We are looking for members of our community with planning expertise - and who have an interest in our environment, our community - and how Radyr and Morganstown and the surrounding areas might develop over the next ten years. If that's you, would you like to help us as we tackle the LDP process? There will be lots of issues to consider, but it's important for us to assemble a team able to build a case to ensure that Radyr and Morganstown gets the best possible deal from the next LDP. If you would like to help, on a voluntary basis, or know someone who could help, please contact our clerk. Thank you.
