 Reliable sources have told us that the new tenant set to occupy the old Spar site on Station Road will be the Coop.

Something else would certainly have been preferable , to boost the variety of shops.

Would have been nice to have another bar or coffee house. So nice to have a good vibe on the road

It was no great shakes losing the Spar, but increasing the size of the coop is surely to the area's detriment. A decent restaurant perhaps with friendly staff would have been such a great addition to the area.

Not keen on a bigger coop what we have is enough. Another shop/restaurant would have enhanced the village atmosphere. 😔

Really disappointed. The current Coop is more than big enough to provide the items people expect from a local shop. Another cafe/bar would have been welcome, and boosted the area even further

I think it’ll be great to have a bigger Co-op: more range available, and makes it easier for people without cars (and for people with them!) to get what they need. Fantastic!

Disappointing. I agree that another restaurant/bar would have enhanced the village more. I’ll always only use the coop for a top up shop. I’ll never do my full shop there. Leave a Reply. |
